UC Referencing Guide

General Guidelines

If the journal is filed by volumes and/or issues place the year within Round Brackets e.g. (2010)

If the journal is filed by year only without volume numbers place the year within Square Brackets e.g. [2010]

Online articles should be cited in the same manner as printed articles.  If volumes and page number are not available use other identifiers that are available such as the article number of pages in a PDF.
