Important news for RefWorks users
The University has replaced our RefWorks subscription with one to EndNote Online and will cease supporting access to RefWorks on the 31st December 2016.
What do I need to do?
Save your RefWorks database before the cut-off date and import it into another referencing service. You can find instructions on how to do this here: http://canberra.libanswers.com/a.php?qid=1291528
We recommend using EndNote Online, a free product which can also sync your references and saved articles with EndNote Desktop (available from the Library and pre-installed on all student computers) and the EndNote iPad app. Other features include easily sharing groups of articles with other people you are working with, linking to full text articles in the Univerisity’s databases, and an integration with Web of Science which shows how many times an article has been used by other researchers (times cited).
You can find a quick reference sheet about Endnote Online here: http://endnote.com/sites/en/files/m/pdf/en-online-qrc.pdf
What if I miss the cut-off date?
RefWorks will be able to extract your database for you if you cannot access your account.
Can I continue to use RefWorks next year?
If you wish to take out your own subscription to RefWorks, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact the Library
