Information Resources Plan: School of Accounting & Finance

As part of the University's course approval process to ensure the viability of proposed new courses, the Library prepares Library Impact Statements.  The statements provide an assessment on the impact of proposed new courses on Library resources and services - the resources component typically including the cost of any additional database and journal literature, general collection books, and required textbooks to the Library's current holdings.

Current special areas for attention include:

• Review of sustainability of database and journal subscriptions.

• Expand the number of Open Access resources in the Library collection.

• Review the current "footprint" of print collection given student need for collaborative learning spaces.
