September 3rd 2025
Each year the UC Library hosts a Great Book Swap to celebrate Indigenous Literacy Day and to raise money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Last year the UC Community raised just over $750! An amazing effort!
We will be running the book sale again this year, on September 3rd and we are looking for book donations!
If you have any finished or unwanted novels, textbooks, cookbooks, self-help books, history book or anything book related really, we would love your donations.
On the day, we set these books up in the foyer of the library, the UC Community can donate to the ILF and walk away with a new book! All the money is then donated to the ILF so they can provide culturally appropriate books to remote communities.
In the Foyer of the Library there will be a trolley set up for book donations, we are accepting books right up until 3rd September. It’s the perfect time for Spring cleaning you book collection and home and in the office!
