Off Campus Services incl. Document Delivery

This is a guide to the library's off-campus services for staff and students studying and working remotely.

Requesting items held by UC Library

Please note that items from the short loan collections, including 7 day, 3 day and 3 hour loans cannot be supplied via off campus services.

  • Search for the book you need in the Library Catalogue.
  • Click on the book to see the full record
  • If you are not currently logged in to your library account, click on Sign in to view request options
  • Click Request
  • In the location dropdown, select Home address under PERSONAL DELIVERY
  • In the notes field of your request, type "OFF CAMPUS USER" to alert staff.

You can check on the progress of your request in your Library account.

Make a Request

Resources such as articles, conference papers, books and book chapters, which are not held by the Library, can be requested online through the Library catalogue and delivered to you. Items held by the Library in any format (including short loan books) cannot be requested through this service.

Copyright restrictions apply to the amount of material that may be copied. Please refer to this guide for more information about copyright.

You may also wish to submit a purchase suggestion for books which aren't held by the Library. By preference the item would be purchased for the collection as an ebook.
