Law

This guide provides you with links to online resources for Law

Why can't I just Google it?

Many legal sources are not included in the data accessed by Google or Google Scholar.  As Google doesn't measure up to the quality and currency that can be obtained from specialist legal databases, it  should rarely be used when searching for legal information.

This short video from RMIT Library explains in more detail why legal research on platforms such as Google should be restricted.

Key Australian Databases

Please note Library Search is NOT able to search within the majority of  legal databases.
