The first time you open EndNote, you will see this screen:
Select Create a new library
Save this library to a local location on your computer with a name you will recognise. It is recommended that you only have one library saved to your computer at a time.
It is Essential that the Endnote library is not saved to Cloud storage. Some examples of Cloud storage include SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive and iCloud. For further information please see Clarivate warning on using Cloud Storage.
