EndNote: Formatting in Word

Formatting Citations in Word

EndNote in Word can occasionally display unformatted references that will look like this:

{Antons, 2019 #67}

In certain circumstances, this option can be useful.

  • When writing a long document (such as a thesis). This will allow Word to work faster on your computer.
  • When combining chapters into a master document. In this situation, you need to have unformatted references in both the chapter and master documents.
