There are no rules in AGLC governing the citation of images. The structure below is based on the structure for citing audiovisual material.

GenAI Created Images

There are no specific guidelines on citing and referencing images generated by Generative Artificial Intelligence.

In-text

Add a note to the image including the AI model used and the prompt used to create the image.

Figure 1: Image created in Adobe Express using the prompt: Create an image of a realistic human heart and lungs and the vessels connecting them.

When a source is directly quoted in another work enter the reference as:
